As a coach with some degree of experience under your belt, you will have already witnessed the truly transformative power that our vocation has on people’s lives. Its ability to address many of the challenges your clients bring you never ceases to amaze.
But on occasion, you are presented with predicaments that challenge you to the best of your abilities, particularly around emotions or traumatic circumstances.
Intuitively, you know that these areas require a little more understanding, awareness, range, confidence, and tools in order for us to safely and effectively partner with our clients to traverse the uncharted waters they find themselves in.
How the program works
The Next Level Coaching Program is built around six live group sessions, each two hours long, co-led by faculty from ACT Leadership and Coaching Transformation. Sessions are paired with 16 hours of self-paced audio, 90-minute coaching practice groups after each session, and bonus materials including coaching demonstrations and a guided meditation.
The program is approved for 40 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours with the International Coaching Federation.
Before the live sessions begin, an orientation audio series introduces your instructors and sets you up for the work ahead.
The six live sessions
Each session builds on the last, layering deeper coaching capability across emotion, identity, responsibility, and possibility.
1. Coaching the Client's Complex Inner World Identify the ten most common internal voices in your clients. Use the Mingle/Rant technique to help them meet those voices with clarity rather than fear.
2. Emotional Resilience Mastery Develop emotional fluency. Distinguish counterfeit emotions from authentic ones. Help clients embrace what they actually feel rather than what's expected of them.
3. The 10 Essential Truths for Deeper Client Connection Work with ten truths that foster growth, creativity, and authenticity. Help clients access their own nurturing parent and align with what they really want.
4. The Responsibility Formula for Masterful Coaching Use the Responsibility Formula to help clients own their impact and step into real accountability. Recognize the seven substitutes they default to instead.
5. Disarming the Inner Critic Spot and neutralize the inner critic in yourself and your clients. Learn its top three strategies and how to disarm them, including how to work skillfully with resistance.
6. Creating a Compelling Future Move beyond goal-setting into breakthrough coaching. Use Beacon Futures and the Kicking Butt framework to help clients build futures that pull them forward.
Coaching practice groups
After each live session, you'll join a 90-minute practice group to apply what you've just learned. This is where the skills get hands and feet.
Bonus materials
Two full coaching demonstrations with deconstruction commentary, plus a Future Loop Meditation, to keep the work integrated beyond the program.

Got a question about our coaching programs?
Most participants who complete LPCC/Level 1 apply for their ACC Credentials, even while working towards their PCC credentials through the Next Level with Level 2 Add on. The PCC credential requires 500 practice coaching hours so most opt to obtain the ACC credential first. (Link: https://coachingfederation.org/credentialing/icf-credentials-overview/pcc/)
Level 2 requires 125 hours of coach-specific training. Our LPCC Level 1 program provides 100 hours of training. To obtain your PCC, you will require an additional 25 hours. Our Next Level program with the Level 2 add-on provides the additional training hours as well as the Level 2 Performance Evaluation to become eligible for PCC credentials.To obtain the PCC with the ICF, you must complete 500 hours of practice coaching hours.
It depends. If you are already an ICF credentialed coach, then the LPCC program is not necessary for you. Have you been trained in another style of coaching? We recommend checking whether this follows the ICF Core Competencies and schedule a call with one of our Program Advisors who can advise. If you have been working as a coach without an ICF credential, then the LPCC program can help you obtain your ACC credentials. However, you cannot count any of your previous coaching hours as coaching practice. The ICF wants to make sure you are practicing the coaching from a credentialed coaching school.
Around 75% of the cohort composition is from North America. Of the remaining 25%, students are spread geographically from around the world.
In the application, you need at least 5 years of professional experience. There are a lot of senior people in our program, some retired, some as a second career, CEO, COO, consultants, educators. We look at your experience and how you want to apply the learning from the program.
No more than 24 people. With few exceptions, every cohort is full.
We've had some very senior leaders in our program, as well as emerging leaders and everyone in between.
When the cohort is virtual, we have a much broader geographical spread. Currently, 75% of our participants are based in the USA or Canada. We are proud to have trained and worked with a diverse range of leaders from various backgrounds, including actors, musicians, government officials, healthcare professionals and nonprofit workers, who all share a common desire to serve.
